Real Madrid’s management is considering inviting coach Jose Mourinho back to Bernabeu to take over from Carlo Ancelotti. The reason for targeting “The Special One” is their uncertainty about retaining the Italian strategist.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Coach Ancelotti is expected to part ways with Real at the end of the season to take over the Brazilian national team. Among the potential candidates to replace Coach Ancelotti, Coach Mourinho is the name that the leadership of the Spanish royal team is paying the most attention to.

Coach Mourinho is currently working in Serie A with AS Roma. He will likely resign from his position at Roma when his contract expires next summer. Mourinho’s advantage is that he has an in-depth understanding of Real. This is because Coach Mourinho previously managed “Los Blancos” for three years (from 2010 to 2013) before moving on to Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Roma.

During his time at the helm of Real, Coach Mourinho, despite facing the formidable rival Pep Guardiola at Barca, helped the team secure three titles. The most notable was the 2011/12 season La Liga championship.

At the end of his last season at Real, Coach Mourinho handed over the position to Ancelotti. Now, the current head coach of Real is also preparing to do the same with the former coach of Porto, who has won the Champions League twice.

If this scenario unfolds, it wouldn’t be too surprising. Simply put, Real’s management habitually invites their former coaches back to Bernabeu to work. They have done this with coaches Ancelotti, and Zinedine Zidane, and Coach Mourinho will likely be the next in line.
